Job summary

Körber is seeking a Contract Manager to support the Parcel, Automation, and Consulting Supply Chain units across the full contract lifecycle. You will lead reviews, negotiate terms, assess risks, and coordinate with Legal and business teams to secure favorable, compliant agreements.

You will also help draft templates and playbooks, ensuring consistent practices across projects and regions. This role requires US work authorization and strong cross-border knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field with 3+ years contract management experience
• US contract law knowledge; Canada/Mexico law preferred
• Experience in large-scale industrial automation or logistics projects is highly desirable
• Familiarity with cross-border compliance and international trade agreements
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with ability to protect company interests
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across functions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems, with integrity and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with Legal support as appropriate
• Identify and communicate legal, commercial, operational, and financial risks in RFPs, bids, statements of work, and terms
• Collaborate with Sales, Bid Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, and others to align contract positions
• Prepare risk summaries, deviations, and recommendations; ensure compliance with policies and approvals
• Lead or support negotiations on scope, pricing, payment terms, schedule, warranties, IP, termination, and disputes
• Interpret requirements and support handoff to project teams with key obligations and risks
• Provide contract management support during execution (changes, delays, claims, notices)
• Develop and improve templates, clauses, playbooks, and tools for consistency and efficiency
