Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling Manager I to lead complex project schedules, interact with staff at all levels, and apply advanced scheduling principles on large programs.

The role requires eight or more years in construction, strong CPM scheduling proficiency, and a proven ability to mentor teams and drive schedule-focused strategies. Base pay ranges with incentive eligibility and onsite work expectations are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years construction experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing and installation methods.
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and solve complex scheduling problems on large projects.
• Strong interpretation of contracts and scheduling specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams and trade partners in developing schedules using CPM on large, complex projects.
• Monitor and update project schedules across multiple projects or larger programs.
• Generate mitigation options and assist management in corrective scheduling actions.
• Coach and train team members in scheduling methods.
• Collaborate on proposals and project pursuit strategies tied to schedule.
