Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Scheduler I to oversee all planning and scheduling activities across complex construction projects. You will coordinate and direct scheduling efforts, ensuring compliance with standards while mentoring field personnel and fostering teamwork.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least four years of construction experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed. Mortenson offers competitive pay and benefits.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all planning and scheduling activities.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct planning and scheduling tasks.
• Ensure project schedules and standards are followed.
• Coach, mentor, and train field personnel.
• Develop teamwork and provide resources.
• Manage site work, logistics, and relationships with stakeholders.
• Handle hiring decisions if needed.
• Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at project site.
• Manage open shop and union issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
