Job summary

J. Davis Construction in the Southeast region seeks a Project Executive to lead business development, preconstruction, client services, and project management for an assigned sector. The role drives client relationships, secures new work, and manages budgets and staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high client satisfaction.

You will mentor teams and help build a strong, high-performing department across the SC/GA region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Experience in business development and client relationships.
• Experience leading project management teams.
• Familiarity with GMP, Lump Sum, CM at-Risk, and Design-Build.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships that generate new business.
• Lead project pursuits, presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to secure work and expand market presence.
• Provide executive oversight for projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and operational staff.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget.
