Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will manage the end-to-end pipeline, coordinate proposals with the engineering team, and report progress monthly.

You will join a seller-doer model with base salary plus commission on revenue from accounts you develop, with regular travel to client sites and planning meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners or design firms in the market.
• Disciplined, forecastable pipeline management and honest reporting.
• Comfort discussing specifications and terms with superintendents and owners.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a target list of clients in your market; own relationships end-to-end.
• Track permits, bid boards, and project announcements to pursue work early.
• Run the pursuit pipeline from first contact to signed agreement in CRM.
• Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, qualifications, follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry events and report monthly pipeline results.
