Job summary

Global Construction, a Kapella Group subsidiary, seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead origination of commercial opportunities across Colorado and secure strategic partnerships. You will manage client relationships, engage decision-makers, and drive long-term revenue growth while collaborating with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in commercial construction.
• Proven track record of self-sourced opportunities and negotiated deals.
• Established relationships with owners, developers, architects, and representatives in Colorado.
• Knowledge of pursuit lifecycles and delivery methods (negotiated, design-build, CM, hard bid).
• Long sales cycles spanning 6–18 months; resilient outreach.
• CRM discipline with accurate opportunity tracking and next steps.
• Executive presence when engaging property owners and senior leadership.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new commercial opportunities with owners, developers, operators, architects, and owner’s representatives.
• Lead meetings with project decision-makers to advance opportunities.
• Evaluate prospects and define scope, timelines, and actionable next steps.
• Re-engage dormant client networks to discover new revenue streams.
• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating through go/no-go evaluations and proposals.
• Maintain CRM hygiene with clear ownership, stages, actions, and notes.
• Maintain client communication through construction and closeout to drive repeat business.
• Represent Global Construction at industry events and networking functions.
