Job summary

LaForce in Austin is seeking an Account Manager to build connections with general contractors, identify new business opportunities, and drive successful construction projects across the region.

You will analyze bids, develop winning strategies to protect margins, manage small-scale estimates, and expand relationships by introducing customers to LaForce’s full product line, attending industry meetings to showcase our reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 1–2 years outside sales or construction
• 2–5 years of military experience may substitute for relevant sales experience
• Analytical thinking to evaluate bids, interpret technical documents, and make strategic decisions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to build connections across audiences and with clients

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen partnerships with general contractors to position LaForce as their trusted resource
• Analyze bids and develop winning strategies to ensure project margins align with company goals
• Scope out work, follow up on quotes, and research new projects to maintain a healthy pipeline
• Attend industry meetings and events to showcase LaForce's reputation for excellence
• Provide technical solutions to field challenges and manage small-scale job estimates
