Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a Conference Services Manager to lead client meetings, coordinate space and events, and drive revenue through strategic sales efforts.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, familiarity with Opera or similar PMS, and a passion for hospitality. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected, with primary on-site responsibilities in Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with property management software like OPERA is a plus.
• Interest in hospitality and helping guests feel welcome.
• Collaborative spirit and teamwork.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business for banquet space.
• Execute targeted marketing to maximize revenue and meet sales goals.
• Plan and detail meetings/events with clients: space, times, equipment, menus.
• Prepare sales status and period-end reports.
• Stay updated on procedures, products, and competitors to refine strategies.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
