Job summary

The Stoneleigh, a landmark hotel in Uptown Dallas, is seeking a catering sales professional to lead client relationships, craft innovative event setups, and work closely with Chef and banquet teams. This role requires hospitality industry experience and strong sales abilities to grow repeat business and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year within the Hospitality Industry required.
• Experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel, and Delphi.
• Knowledge of sales, revenue management, training, and motivation of peers.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly and annual budgets and monitor progress.
• Improve meeting planner evaluation scores and ensure satisfaction.
• Optimize room rental charges and drive repeat bookings.
• Cultivate long-term client relationships and re-booking.
• Participate in industry organizations (NACE, MPI).
• Demonstrate strong hotel site inspection and client presentation skills.
• Collaborate with banquet operations on event execution and pricing.
• Provide direction and evaluation of Convention Services, including banquet orders and AV as a profit center.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure client satisfaction.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts.
