Job summary

Border Bank seeks a Compliance Manager to lead the enterprise-wide Compliance Management System (CMS), regulatory change management, policies, training, monitoring, testing, consumer complaint oversight, issue management, and Board reporting. The role also serves as the CRA Officer, coordinating the CRA program and examinations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with department managers to design compliant processes, strengthen risk controls, and deliver board-ready summaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or significant related experience.
• 4+ years of banking compliance experience, preferably within a community bank.
• Professional certification such as CRCM, CCBCO, or an equivalent credential is preferred; continued education is expected.
• Demonstrated experience administering a CMS, leading regulatory examinations, managing corrective actions, and presenting to executive management or the Board.
• Proficiency with compliance management systems, data analysis, dashboards, regulatory research platforms, and standard office technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the CMS and coordinate regulatory change management, policies, training, monitoring and testing, consumer complaint oversight, issue management, and reporting to management and the Board.
• Serve as the CRA Officer and own administration of the CRA program.
• Lead coordination of compliance examinations, audits, and responses.
• Develop and deliver risk-based compliance training for staff.
• Provide periodic compliance reporting to the Board and Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
