Job summary

VH Hospitality is seeking a Complex Event Manager to oversee and coordinate group assignments handed from the Sales Department. You will monitor guest room blocks, meeting space, and concessions, ensuring clear communication across hotel departments to satisfy client requirements and drive revenue.

Responsibilities include managing room blocks, reviewing contracts, coordinating menus and room setups, and maintaining client relationships through site visits and pre/post-convention meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in hotel sales or event management.
• Ability to learn sales systems for both DoubleTree and Marriott brands.
• Strong written and verbal communication in the workplace.
• Independent work with ability to lead a team when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group assignments from Sales and coordinate with hotel departments.
• Monitor room blocks, contracts, concessions and attrition.
• Forecast group room and F&B revenue for assigned groups.
• Coordinate site visits, planning meetings and pre/post-convention activities.
• Ensure timely distribution of BEOs and client communications.
