Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Compensation Manager to design, develop, and manage employee compensation programs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to evolve and administer the firm’s compensation strategy in support of business objectives.

Your day-to-day includes facilitating salary administration, budgeting, market reviews, and creating guidelines and training materials. You will act as a senior advisor on compensation, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of compensation-focused experience; CCP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and administer compensation programs and analyses.
• Lead benchmarking, market analysis, salary ranges, and pay structure development.
• Administer annual salary budgeting, market competitiveness reviews, and education materials.
• Provide strategic compensation guidance to HRBPs and business leaders.
• Translate business needs into compensation design, policies, and system improvements.
• Perform data analysis and generate insights to inform decision-making.
• Monitor external market trends to strengthen compensation programs in line with firm strategy.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on offers for experienced hires and campus recruits.
• Communicate compensation strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
