Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks a Compensation Manager to design, develop and administer compensation programs, partnering with People & Culture and business leaders to advance the firm’s strategy. You will drive benchmarking, annual salary processes, and policy development while providing expert guidance on compensation matters.

The role requires a strong data mindset, excellent Excel/HRIS skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, economics, mathematics, or other business-related areas.
  • Minimum of 7 years of compensation-focused experience; CCP certification is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of compensation theory, design, analysis, and consulting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and HRIS experience, including Oracle HCM.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation and administration of compensation programs, processes and analysis including day-to-day management.
  • Lead compensation benchmarking, market analysis, salary range, structure development and pay position reviews.
  • Administer annual salary administration, budget modeling, education materials, system setup and reporting for senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic consultation to HRBPs and leaders on compensation topics.
  • Analyze large data sets to inform decision-making and identify market trends.
  • Monitor federal, state and local pay regulation compliance and pay equity considerations.
  • Lead projects with cross-functional stakeholders and mitigate risks to successful completion.
