Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Compensation Manager to join the People & Culture team in a hands-on role responsible for the design, development, management, and administration of employee compensation programs. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support the firm’s compensation strategy and business objectives.

Your day-to-day includes leading benchmarking, salary administration, training materials, and analytical reporting, while ensuring compliance with pay equity and wage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree as required in business-related areas.
  • 7+ years of compensation-focused experience; CCP certification is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of compensation theory, program design, analysis, and consulting with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and administer compensation programs and analyses.
  • Lead benchmarking processes including surveys, market analysis and pay structure development.
  • Administer key annual processes: salary administration, budgeting, market reviews and training materials.
  • Provide strategic compensation consultation to HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Translate business needs into compensation policy designs and system changes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on offers and communicate compensation strategies to stakeholders.
