The role involves Department-wide policy and program development, coordination, and guidance on compensation and other HR programs, with opportunities to influence regulatory proposals and legislative actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Department-wide policy and program development, coordination and technical assistance in the compensation area and other assigned HR program areas.
• Analyze workforce and organizational information to indicate trends; identify problems; and develop solutions/responses to findings.
• Conduct research into legislative history, regulatory coverage, and precedent setting cases to prepare talking papers and recommendations for senior officials.
