Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Compensation Analyst to provide comprehensive compensation support across base salaries, incentives, and equity. You will partner with HR and business leaders to perform job evaluations, market pricing, and job architecture initiatives, while maintaining data integrity and supporting compensation programs.

The role requires 5+ years in compensation within HR, preferably in life sciences, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, finance, or psychology.
• 5+ years in compensation within HR, pharma, or life sciences.
• Knowledge of compensation theory and local, state, and federal laws/regulations.
• Experience building compensation models and performing pay analyses.
• Familiarity with compensation surveys (Radford & Mercer preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide compensation support to HR, managers, and employees.
• Perform job evaluations, classify positions, and determine market-competitive salaries.
• Maintain data integrity for compensation analyses and reports.
• Validate job requirements through interviews, questionnaires, and observations.
• Draft and update job descriptions with HR and business leaders.
• Support career pathways, job architecture, and ladders development.
