Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, finance, psychology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of compensation experience within HR.
• Knowledge of FLSA, Equal Pay Act, minimum wage, overtime, and record-keeping requirements.
• Experience building compensation models and performing detailed pay analyses.
• Experience utilizing compensation survey data (Radford & Mercer preferred).
• Skilled in designing & evaluating job architecture/career ladders, salary structures, market pricing, and job evaluation.
• Ability to interact effectively with managers and HR partners; articulate technical recommendations.
• Advanced to expert MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; complex spreadsheets with formulas, pivots, charts.
• Adaptable and agile in a fast-paced growth environment; strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel to company events and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal compensation consultant to HR, managers, and employees.
• Perform detailed job evaluations, determining classification, exemption status, and market salaries.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of compensation and job data for analyses and reporting.
• Validate job requirements by interviewing knowledgeable persons and studying questionnaires.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to draft, review, and update job descriptions.
• Support development of career pathways, job architecture, and ladders; prepare reports summarizing analyses.
• Perform compensation analyses and market pricing, including FLSA testing.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses, reports, and decision-support materials.
• Support merit planning cycles; participate in compensation surveys Submissions and results analysis.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve compensation processes and systems.
