Delaware North in Buffalo, New York is seeking a full-time Compensation Analyst to join our team at global headquarters. You will support the administration and maintenance of compensation programs for hourly positions across the organization.

Responsibilities include conducting market pricing analyses, developing and maintaining salary structures, and partnering with HR managers to advise on pay placement and policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Certified Compensation Professional or SPHR designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in compensation, HR analytics, Total Rewards, or related experience.
• Experience conducting market pricing and compensation analysis.
• Experience supporting salary structures, pay grades, or compensation administration programs; multi-state experience preferred.
• Union experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis.
• Experience with compensation survey platforms and market data sources.
• Workday or similar HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market pricing analyses and evaluate compensation trends, survey data, and competitive pay practices to support hourly compensation recommendations
• Develop, maintain, and administer hourly salary structures, pay ranges, job classifications, and grade assignments
• Partner with HR Managers and business leaders to provide guidance on job pricing, pay placement, compensation policies, and market competitiveness
• Maintain compensation data, job architecture, and pay structures within Workday and related systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support compensation reviews related to reorganizations, acquisitions, minimum wage changes, and market adjustments
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, pay transparency requirements, and other applicable compensation standards
• Prepare compensation reports, analyses, and dashboards, respond to stakeholder inquiries, and identify opportunities to improve processes, data integrity, and operational efficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field

MBA (preferred)

Advanced Microsoft Excel

Workday or similar HRIS

Experience with compensation survey platforms

Experience with multi-state compensation administration

Union experience (plus)
