Job summary

Delaware North is recruiting a Benefits and Compensation Analyst to support administration of health, welfare, retirement and leave programs at our Buffalo HQ. You will reconcile data, support benefits communications, and ensure compliance across systems while handling sensitive information with discretion.

The role includes preparing reports, executing audits, and assisting Total Rewards initiatives within a global hospitality leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience in HR, compensation, benefits, or related area preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of compensation and benefits principles.
  • Proficient in Excel with data analysis skills.
  • Experience with an HRIS/payroll system such as Workday or UKG preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Support administration of health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs and respond to inquiries.
  • Coordinate benefits activities including open enrollment and program communications.
  • Review, reconcile, and validate compensation and benefits data across systems.
  • Manage Total Rewards case intake, pay adjustments, and communications per guidelines.
  • Maintain job descriptions, SharePoint, policies, and process documentation.
  • Prepare data summaries, audits, and stakeholder communications to ensure compliance.
  • Assist audits, reporting, and Total Rewards initiatives with accurate data.

Pay

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $62,354 - $78,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Support the administration of health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs while responding to team member inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed
  • Coordinatebenefitsactivities including open enrollment, program communications, eligibility support, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Review, reconcile, andvalidatecompensation and benefits data across systems while researching discrepancies and supporting corrective actions
  • Manage Total Rewards case intake, compensation requests, pay adjustments, and shared mailbox communicationsin accordance withestablished guidelines
  • Maintain job descriptions, SharePoint content, program records, policies, procedures, and process documentation to support effective program administration
  • Prepare data summaries, reports, audit documentation, and stakeholder communications while supporting compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
  • Assistwith audits, reporting, and ongoing Total Rewards initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, documentation completeness, and consistent program execution
More about you
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or a related fieldrequired
  • Experience in human resources, compensation, benefits, finance, payroll, or relatedpreferred
  • Foundational knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and practices
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Experience with an HRIS or payroll system, such as Workday or UKG, is preferred
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
