YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago seeks an Executive Director for the Lake View YMCA hub to lead strategy and operations, ensuring outstanding programs that meet community needs. This role drives financial performance, staff development, and strong partnerships to extend impact across neighborhoods.

The ED will unify strategy, mission, and community voice, develop a hub-level plan, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences for members and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in a multi-program or community-based setting.
• Proven success in financial management, staff development, and community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with YMCA systems (Daxko, T-Rec).
• Willingness and ability to complete all mandatory YMCA trainings and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the YMCA Community Hub.
• Oversee daily operations, member experience, and community engagement.
• Develop hub-level strategic plan and ensure program alignment with priorities.
• Manage hub P&L, enrollment and partnerships; collaborate with program directors.
• Represent YMCA in the community and coordinate with marketing for local campaigns.
