Job summary

Lake View YMCA seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for a YMCA Community Hub in Chicago. You will oversee daily operations, member experience, and partnerships to advance the YMCA mission.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 5–7 years of leadership with strong financial and community engagement experience. Competitive salary with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-program/community setting.
• Strong financial management and staff development experience.
• Proven ability to translate community insight into strategy and program development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to ensure a safe, welcoming hub environment.
• Oversee enrollment, scheduling, and service delivery with cross-functional support.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, address gaps promptly.
• Own hub P&L and drive sustainable financial performance.
• Develop hub-level strategic plan and partnerships with local organizations.
