Job summary

Hastings Lake YMCA in Lindenhurst, IL is hiring a full-time Director, Community Experience to lead the Community Hub’s customer experience team and drive a customer-centric culture. You will manage front-desk operations, rentals, and engagement initiatives while collaborating across marketing and sales to elevate the member experience.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related leadership experience, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, operations, marketing, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Proficiency with CRM and customer engagement tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Community Hub’s customer experience team, including front-desk operations and administration, rentals, and customer engagement.
• Identify, develop, implement, and measure customer engagement strategies that increase retention and drive a customer-centric culture.
• Forecast Community Hub sales, analyze revenue, and prepare reports of business performance indicators.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, coach, and manage a team focused on customer experience and engagement.
