Job summary

The McCormick YMCA seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for its Community Hub in Chicago. You will oversee daily operations, financial performance, member experience, and community engagement while aligning with association priorities and mission.

You will develop hub-level strategic plans, lead a collaborative team, manage the P&L, and foster partnerships with local organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven ability in financial management and community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; inspiring leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with YMCA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and ensure safe, welcoming hub environment.
• Oversee hub P&L and financial performance; drive enrollment and programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional support for enrollment, scheduling, and service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions; report performance data.
• Build partnerships with local organizations and community groups.
• Represent the YMCA at events and collaborate with marketing for local campaigns.
