Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Manager in California to oversee multiple associations, advising Boards, homeowners, and vendors. You will exercise independent judgment, supervise staff, and coordinate cross‑department efforts to meet association needs.

The role requires strong financial, communication, and leadership skills, with duties spanning budgets, compliance, and board support. A CMCA certification is preferred and may be pursued within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred, or comparable business experience.
• CMCA preferred; must obtain within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee association fiscal management including financial statements and budgeting.
• Manage invoices, audits, taxes, and delinquency monitoring.
• Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas and minutes.
• liaise with counsel and ensure legal compliance.
• Supervise on-site staff and manage vendor relations.
