Hoshizaki America Inc. is seeking a Commodity Buyer to source materials, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate pricing to support manufacturing operations at our Peachtree City, GA facility.

This full-time role emphasizes cost savings, on-time delivery, and cross-functional collaboration with production teams. You will analyze costs, monitor supplier performance, and ensure materials are available at the right cost and time to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Five years purchasing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, distribution, inventory management, and production operations.
• Experience developing and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms with external suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Source materials, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve cost savings and avoidance targets.
• Maintain supplier relationships, manage contract terms, and monitor performance to meet pricing, quality, and delivery targets.
• Analyze inventory levels, production requirements, and supplier lead times to minimize shortages and reduce emergency POs.
• Analyze material costs and market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, resolve invoice and inventory discrepancies, and streamline processes.
