Job summary

Hoshizaki America Inc. in Peachtree City, GA, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvement, manufacturing innovation, and capital projects.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Design Engineering to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost while supporting new product launches. This hands-on leadership role involves mentoring engineers, developing manufacturing best practices, and shaping long-term manufacturing strategy for a global foodservice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 8–10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong experience with manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and process improvement.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies.
• Advanced CAD and data analysis skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Lead capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Evaluate and implement equipment, tooling, automation, and new technologies.
• Support new product development and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues using root cause analysis and data.
• Develop process standards, SOPs, work instructions, and best practices.
• Lead supplier development and qualification activities.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
