Job summary

Hoshizaki America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence at our Peachtree City, GA facility. You will develop and sustain efficient manufacturing processes, partner with production, quality, and design teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include lean initiatives, root cause analysis, capital project leadership, and documenting SOPs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of progressively responsible manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong background in process improvement and operational excellence.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fabrication.
CAD and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Plastic tooling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, capacity, and safety.
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and quality issues cross-functionally.
Support cost analysis, production planning, and labor/material estimates.
Develop manufacturing methods with design engineering for new products.
Lead capital projects from concept through completion (scope, schedule, budget).
Support equipment selection, justification, and implementation.
Create concept drawings for new or improved equipment.
Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and risk assessments.
Develop and maintain SOPs, process flows, and work instructions.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
