Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Commercial Risk Client Executive to lead management and service of complex commercial accounts at a strategic level, developing consultative client relationships and educating clients on coverage options.

You will engage in renewals, market submissions, and collaboration with brokers and insurance partners to optimize risk transfer strategies and client outcomes. Travel may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State license required to provide risk management consulting.
• Ten years of commercial insurance experience minimum.
• Expertise in insurance coverage, contracts, market conditions, and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and retains large, complex clients through deep risk understanding and insurance architecture.
• Develops trusted partnerships with insurance company partners and brokers.
• Leads client renewals with coverage and pricing comparisons and historical loss data.
• Leads the preparation of complex submissions for the marketplace (loss picks, endorsements, exposure information).
• Ensures client teams maintain service standards and deliverables exceed expectations.
• Assesses audits to ensure accuracy between client and insurer audit teams.
• Builds relationships with clients, partners, and firm leaders through integrity and experience.
• Provides training and mentorship to the client executive team within the book of business.
• Shares insurance expertise to advise and develop knowledge across colleagues.
