Job summary

Busey is seeking a Relationship Manager II in Missouri to manage borrowing relationships, develop new business, and cross-sell bank services. This role includes approving loans within authority and presenting them for committee review while actively managing the loan portfolio.

You will focus on maintaining loan quality, generating fee income, and delivering strong customer service. A strong analytical mindset, sales skills, and excellent communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years banking, finance, or sales experience.
• Six months or more credit analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and loan prospects via referrals, calls, and community involvement.
• Analyze customers’ financial data, structure and negotiate credit transactions.
• Service existing relationships to maximize profitability.
• Pursue loan repayment and contact past due or overdrawn accounts.
• Detect problem loans early and generate management reports.
• Assist other lines of business with business development.
• Support leadership and coach junior staff when needed.
