Job summary

Element Risk Management is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage client relationships and ensure policy accuracy across multiple offices. You will support the Account Executive in delivering risk solutions and be the primary go-to for day-to-day servicing, underwriting coordination, and cross-sell opportunities.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with agency systems to maintain client records, process changes, and drive renewal activities.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent is desired.
• Experience in commercial lines underwriting and marketing.
• Organized with effective verbal and written communication and ability to influence others.
• Familiar with agency systems and overall operations.
• Strong background in negotiation and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily client communications, including policy inquiries, billing questions, and service requests.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain up-to-date client records and document all service activities in the agency management system.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to resolve service issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor renewal timelines and proactively initiate renewal processes.
• Support commercial risk advisors and account executives with proposals, summaries, and client deliverables.
• Coordinate communications between carriers and account executives.
• Oversee underwriting processes to ensure compliance and timely policy delivery.
• Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy adjustments to align with client needs.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market shifts.
• Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate favorable terms and identify optimal coverage options.
• Champion the client experience by identifying service improvement opportunities.
• Leverage client feedback and market insights to drive innovation in service delivery.
• Spotting Cross-Sell Gaps and identifying opportunities for additional solutions.
• Understand client operations and evolving needs to proactively suggest complementary products.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to develop and present cross-sell strategies.
