Job summary

Summit-Bank is seeking a Business Client Advisor (Commercial Loan Officer) in Portland, OR to manage and grow client relationships while underwriting and approving loans within policy and regulatory guidelines.

You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows, develop lending and deposit opportunities, monitor credit quality, and provide sound, timely solutions to help clients achieve their financial objectives. Exempt, full-time role with standard banking hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required with at least three years of commercial lending experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and document loans in conformance with policy and within authorized limits.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and develop new lending and deposit opportunities.
• Monitor credit quality by analyzing financial statements, tax returns, cash flows and credit reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely, accurate responses to client inquiries.
• Develop referral networks to grow lending activity and deposits.
• Proactively inform clients of maturities, renewals and rate adjustments.
