Job summary

You will oversee underwriting and documentation, monitor credit quality across the portfolio, analyze financial statements and tax returns, and develop new lending opportunities while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years in a commercial lending capacity.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize loan and deposit activity.
• Oversee underwriting and documentation of loans to policy and regulatory standards.
• Monitor credit quality across the loan portfolio and analyze financial statements.
• Develop new lending and deposit relationships to drive bank growth.
• Provide guidance and referrals to clients for comprehensive financial solutions.
• Participate in board loan committee meetings when appropriate.
• Ensure accurate paper file maintenance and documentation.
• Cover department functions in others' absence.
