Job summary

Summit Credit Union seeks a driven Business Services Lender to cultivate strong business member relationships and provide trusted financial guidance. You’ll deliver customized lending and treasury management solutions while collaborating with Credit and Operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

You will analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and travel to member locations to support growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years in credit analyst or commercial lending roles.
• Strong understanding of business lending, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
• Thorough knowledge of loan policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to build relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business member relationships through prospecting and networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with SMB members understanding their financial needs.
• Deliver customized lending solutions including business loans and lines of credit.
• Provide accurate, timely service to members and foster loyalty.
• Analyze financial statements to assess creditworthiness and recommend lending solutions.
• Collaborate with Credit and Operations teams to ensure compliant service delivery.
• Represent Summit Credit Union at community events and local organizations.
• Monitor loan growth, deposit growth, fee income, and portfolio quality.
• Stay informed of market trends and regulatory requirements.
