Experience Champaign Urbana is seeking a Commercial Lender to grow our commercial client base and manage a portfolio of loans. You will analyze applications, assess creditworthiness, and structure loan packages that align with client needs and bank policies.

You will collaborate with credit analysts and operations to ensure accurate processing, compliant proposals, and proactive risk management while pursuing new business opportunities in the Champaign area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial lending experience.
• Experience in underwriting and managing complex commercial loan transactions.
• Knowledge of industry-specific lending practices and market trends.
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with client relationship ability.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, acting as their primary contact.
