Join our dynamic financial team as a Commercial Lender, where you will play a key role in driving business growth by developing and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial sales, credit analysis, and customer relationship management to provide tailored lending solutions that meet client needs while maintaining compliance with applicable banking and regulatory standards.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and strengthening client relationships, evaluating creditworthiness, negotiating loan terms, and overseeing the loan process from origination through servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities through proactive sales initiatives, community networking, and relationship-building activities.
• Perform comprehensive credit analyses by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and risk.
• Utilize financial software, including Quicken and other banking systems, to monitor loan activity, perform financial calculations, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements governing banking, mortgage origination, loan processing, and fair lending practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer, Commercial Lender, or in a similar financial services role with a focus on commercial lending.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial software, including tools such as Quicken, along with 10-key typing skills for accurate and efficient data entry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong basic mathematical and analytical skills for credit evaluation and loan calculations.
