Busey Bank is seeking a Commercial Underwriter focused on commercial real estate loans in Urbana, IL. You will perform in-depth financial statement spreading, analyze cash flows, liquidity, and leverage, and support credit approval processes.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, evaluate collateral and industry data, and assist in portfolio management and sales activities. A Bachelor’s in Business/Finance and 3+ years of commercial credit experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Finance.
• 3+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement spreading and analysis to assess credit risk.
• Prepare Commercial Credit Approval Request (CCAR) memos with key risk factors.
• Evaluate collateral, industry data, and other credit information.
• Assist with portfolio management tasks and monitoring reports.
• Support Relationship Managers in preparing opportunity memos.
