Job summary

OneGroup is a growing insurance and risk management firm seeking a Business Risk Specialist to drive new commercial insurance sales and cross-sell services. You will build a strong client roster, meet regularly with clients to assess needs, and present tailored insurance solutions.

You’ll manage a pipeline in the CRM, source leads through referrals and cold outreach, and collaborate with underwriting and client services to ensure smooth onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Property/Casualty License required
• 3–5 years of proven sales or related experience
• Insurance sales experience preferred
• Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience using contact management software
• Working knowledge of MS Word/Excel and agency mgmt systems
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license required
• Applicants must be 18+ years old

Responsibilities

• Generate new commercial insurance sales and cross-sell OneGroup products
• Build and maintain a growing client roster while meeting sales/service standards
• Meet with clients regularly to review needs
• Present insurance solutions with consultative selling
• Maintain CRM with prospect and pipeline information
• Develop qualified leads through referrals, cold calling, mail, email and networking
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and follow-ups
• Coordinate with underwriting and client service teams for new accounts
• Attend sales meetings and cross-department collaboration
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations
