Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager in Eugene, OR to oversee a book of insurance business and provide professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, and HUB colleagues. You may work independently or with a Producer to support client advocacy, retention, and growth.

The role requires 2+ years in insurance brokerage or property casualty account management and a P&C license, with focus on service excellence, teamwork, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• P & C Insurance Producer License required.
• 2+ years insurance brokerage or property casualty experience in account management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service day-to-day client needs including phone, email, and other communications regarding coverage questions, policy changes, payments, and cancellations.
• Manage renewal process: obtain updated information, marketing, terms, pricing negotiation, quote review, renewal numbers presentation, and invoicing.
• Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in the proposal.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Delegate work to Associate Account Managers I and II to manage workload.
• Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage.
• Prepare proposals, bind coverage, review policies for accuracy, and create client policy summaries and binders.
• Set up and maintain electronic records and client files.
• Share coverage knowledge with the team and train colleagues.
