Job summary

Tropolis is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Commerce, MI to manage and grow our commercial insurance book. You will deliver strategic account management, top-tier client service, and seamless policy execution, with a strong emphasis on Applied Epic usage.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in commercial lines, active P&C license, and knowledge of coverages and regulations. This full-time role offers a salary range of $70,000–$90,000 plus bonus and a pathway to growth within Tropolis.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic is required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulations.
• P&C license required; CIC/CPCU/CRM certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial lines clients, developing relationships and ensuring their insurance needs are met.
• Handle the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
• Evaluate clients’ risk exposures and provide tailored coverage recommendations.
• Collaborate with carriers to secure competitive coverage solutions, negotiate terms, and present proposals.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products to meet evolving client needs.
• Act as a liaison between clients and carriers, resolving claims, billing, and coverage issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and document all client interactions in Applied Epic.
