Job summary

Tropolis seeks a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our Commerce, MI team. You will manage client relationships, handle policy execution, and collaborate with carriers to secure optimal coverage.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in commercial lines, strong Applied Epic skills, and a valid P&C license. We offer a full-time role with salary $70,000-$90,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulations.
• P&C license required; industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial lines clients, building strong relationships and ensuring needs are met.
• Manage the full policy lifecycle including renewals, endorsements, audits and cancellations.
• Evaluate client risk exposures and recommend tailored coverage.
• Collaborate with carriers to secure competitive coverage and negotiate terms.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to meet evolving client needs.
• Act as liaison between clients and carriers for claims, billing and coverage issues.
• Maintain accurate records and document client interactions in Applied Epic.
