Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager II, Commercial for the Washington State Area. You will develop relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors, educate them on CITY MULTI VRF systems, and drive sales in commercial channels.

The role requires strong presentation skills, field experience in HVAC sales, and a willingness to travel up to 40% for meetings and training. A Mechanical Engineering background and proficiency with CRM tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years technical sales experience.
• High knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channels, engineers, and contractors.
• Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Strong understanding of HVAC application and design is preferred.
• Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and joint sales calls to build relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and sales channels.
• Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and trade shows.
• Enter and maintain customer information, activities, and quotations in Salesforce CRM.
• Manage project pipeline and track within Salesforce CRM.
• Occasional job site visits to support customers and service teams.
• Contribute to sales planning and execution for commercial channels.
• Assist Regional Manager with market and competitive intelligence.
• Support distribution channels as assigned.
• Develop channel competency to train design professionals on Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products.
• Willing to travel up to 40% domestically and possibly internationally.
• Other duties as assigned.
