Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager II, Commercial for the Washington State area. The role focuses on developing relationships with architects, engineers, and specifiers to educate on CITY MULTI VRF systems and other METUS products, while increasing specifications and sales in the assigned territory.

The candidate will deliver educational presentations, participate in industry events, and manage project pipelines in CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years technical sales experience.
• High degree of knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channel, engineers, and contractors.
• Expertise ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
• Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with architectural, engineering, and specifier communities to educate about Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US products and their applications.
• Increase the number of specifications and subsequent sales within an assigned territory.
• Develop and execute sales plans within commercial sales channels.
• Travel up to 40% for meetings and training.
