• Verifies policy coverage and reserves; collaborates with coverage counsel on complex matters.
• Gathers information through statements and documents to determine compensability and damages.
• Establishes relationships with internal/external partners to resolve claims effectively.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and negotiates settlements as appropriate.
• Contributes to expense management by timely resolution and resource oversight.
• Identifies subrogation/salvage opportunities and potential fraud for referrals.
• Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements and CNA guidelines.
