Job summary

The successful candidate will supervise accounting staff, coordinate the annual budget process, present analyses to leadership and the Board, and ensure accurate financial data for decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• Prior supervisory/management experience.
• Experience implementing internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer service and teamwork among accounting and budgeting staff.
• Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting per GAAP, GASB, and FASB standards.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, and Foundation/Grants accounting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and safeguards for revenues, expenditures, and cash.
• Coordinate budgeting processes and assist in managing approved budgets.
