Job summary

Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager to provide comprehensive support for the Business Office, including accounting and student accounts. The role reports to the Controller and supervises an Accounting Assistant, with a focus on budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2–4 years of accounting experience, CPA is preferred, and familiarity with Ellucian Colleague is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Archabbey and Seminary budget and forecast.
• Update Archabbey endowment accounts and prepare journal entries for gains/losses on investments.
• Manage grants accounting including budgeting, expenditures, reports, and compliance.
• Support Archabbey financial operations.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Perform month-end reconciliations for College and Archabbey accounts.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements for the College and Seminary.
• Analyze accounts to ensure accurate GL postings and variances.
• Assist with information gathering for external auditors.
