Job summary

Atlantic Cape Community College seeks an Executive Director, Fiscal Services & Controller to lead the College’s accounting, reporting and cash management functions. You will ensure GAAP/GASB compliance, manage annual audits, and provide strategic financial analysis to support budgeting and institutional planning.

The role requires a CPA/CMA or MBA and a minimum of seven years’ progressive accounting experience, with supervisory responsibilities in a higher education setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting and analyses.
• Experience with ERP/MIS and regulatory compliance (GAAP/GASB).
• Familiarity with higher education financial operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting, reporting and record-keeping activities.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audit with external auditors.
• Provide cash flow planning and liquidity management insights.
• Oversee payroll operations and HR collaboration on benefits and deductions.
