ASPS PARENT LLC is seeking a professional Collections Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable team at our corporate headquarters. You will perform a wide range of credit and collections functions to collect outstanding balances while supporting sales and protecting against bad debt.

You will contact customers with overdue accounts via phone, letter, and email, identify and resolve payment objections, and maintain detailed electronic notes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years in credit and collection experience.
• Minimum 3 years work experience as a Collections Specialist.
• Experience with construction collection is preferred.
• Must have a sense of urgency and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate within all levels of an organization.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Aufgaben

• Perform a wide variety of credit and collections functions for Accounts Receivable.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable within Company payment terms and collection guidelines.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts via telephone, letter and email.
• Identify objections to payment and resolve or escalate according to standard procedures.
• Maintain electronic collections notes for each customer account in the accounting system.
• Provide regular aging and collection reporting to management, General Counsel, and CFO.
• Assist with pre-lien notices, mechanics liens, bond claims, and bankruptcy proofs of claim.
• Place delinquent accounts with third-party collection agencies when appropriate.
• Manage vendor relationships with external credit/collection providers.
• Assist General Counsel and outside counsel with mechanics lien and collection litigation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
