Job summary

Gartner, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Collections Specialist to initiate contact with clients and ensure payment within contract terms. You will evaluate credit history, support term negotiations, and coordinate with Sales for approvals.

You will also manage iCollections workflows, prepare credit memos, and provide monthly balances >$10K delinquent reports to management. A strong command of English (French helpful) and solid Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3+ years of related office experience in Customer Service, Collections, or Sales Support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Oracle and CRM knowledge a plus; strong communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to corporate guidelines for pricing, legal, product, and SOX compliance.
• Evaluate credit history; assist in preparing Sales Agreements with non-standard terms.
• Initiate collections through iCollections and coordinate with collectors via phone and email.
• Coordinate with GEMS and Order Management to validate balances or refunds; work with Cash Applications.
