Job summary

SkillLabs is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to optimize recovery across automotive portfolios. You will allocate workload to vendors, coordinate with agencies, plan calls, and ensure timely closures.

Collaborating with legal and IT teams, you will drive actions against defaulters and ensure accurate record-keeping across the portfolio. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of collections experience in automotive products, proven agency management, and strong data handling skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of collections experience in automotive products (LMV/TW/3W/LCV/MCV/HCV).
• Experience managing collection agencies.
• Strong data management and record-keeping skills.
• Proven ability to perform individually and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Allocate portfolio to vendors based on past performance and FOS availability.
• Review cases with FOS/TL and assign work by disposition code.
• Coordinate with agency resources and plan calls for complex resolutions.
• Audit receipt books, repo kits, and agency billing closures within 60 days.
• Ensure prior approvals in repo cases and help agencies manage related issues.
• Handle collections/repo customer service issues and escalations.
• Coordinate with legal for actions against chronic defaulters and enforcement agencies.
• Track and review BKT resolutions with agency and FO levels.
• Ensure HHT utilization and report them to ACM/RCM regularly.
