Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a HB Coding Strategic Data Analyst to transform complex coding data into actionable insights for Hospital Billing Coding operations. You will develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to drive performance, compliance, and strategic decisions.

The role collaborates with coding leadership and stakeholders, uses Epic and CAC technology, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analytics experience.
• Associate's degree in health information management or related field.
• Working knowledge of Epic, computer-assisted coding technology, and advanced Excel functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs related to productivity, quality, accounts receivable, and workflow outcomes.
• Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, utilize Epic and CAC technology, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
